Ice skating at the Eden Project
Throughout the whole of winter until February, the ice rink is back at The Eden Project. Prices are £7 for adults, along with a valid Eden admission ticket. Sessions run every hour from 12pm to 3pm every day, and skates are available to hire.
Cornwall Film Festival
The Cornwall Film Festival is on until November 30th, a perfect event for any film lovers. The month-long event will see a program of events featuring short and feature length films as well as talks celebrating the best of British and Cornish cinema. Head to Falmouth, St Ives, Penzance, Redruth or Newquay for screenings, events and pop-up screenings.

Living Remembrance Weekend
On November 12th and 13th, the Living Remembrance Weekend event at Cornwall's Regimental Museum in Bodmin is a re-enactment to remember Cornwall's involvement in World War One. There will be weapons and uniform demonstrations, film footage from the Battle of the Somme taken in 1916 and a service to remember the soldiers. Tickets are £5 for over 18s.
Macmillan Christmas Fair
On Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th of November, the Macmillan Christmas Fair at the Eden Project is taking place. The Eden Kitchen will be host to a selection of stalls selling Christmas gifts, home accessories, clothing, jewellery, local food produce and much more. Have a look at our guide for more information.
Looe Literary Festival
From November 9th to the 13th, celebrate creativity, literature, intellect and history at Looe Literary Festival. Looe has invited some world-renowned authors, poets and creative thinkers to give talks and celebrate their work. Poldark fans can also enjoy a talk from screenwriters and executive producers Debbie Horsfield and Karen Thrussell to chat about the popular adaptation.
St Austell Torchlight Carnival
On Saturday 19th November, enjoy a lively Christmas event, the St Austell Torchlight Carnival. Now in its seventh year, the Carnival marks the beginning of winter and attracts over 100 people to join in with the procession; the variety of events on offer taking places across the town will certainly make your trip a memorable one. Lanterns, trade stalls, samba bands and colourful floats promise this year to be bigger and better than before!
Celtic Beer Festival
For any beer lovers, head to St Austell on Saturday 26th November for the Celtic Beer Festival and a taste of the South West's best beverages. Held in the cellars of St Austell Brewery, people come far and wide to sample more than 130 different lagers, ales and stouts, all to the tune of some fantastic live bands. Alongside some favourites, expect to see some limited-edition brews just for the festival.
