Truro Street Food Festival returns this weekend
Written by The Cormorant Hotel
Truro will have its second Street Food Festival on Friday and Saturday at Lemon Quay from 3pm to 11pm.
After the success of last year, the idea is to bring in some of the best Cornish food under one roof, and also showcase some of the best local music talent Cornwall has to offer.
There will be 16 pop up restaurants, ten live acts and a fully-licensed bar over February 26-27. The event is free on both days and organisers hope to have the same success as last October when sellers sold out of food.
The event will feature Slice Pizza, Choccy Churros, The Salvador Thali Café, The Cornish Pasty Shack, Hungry Hog, Angels in the Kitchen, At Home Catering and many more and giving you the chance to sample the best foods in Cornwall.
Music acts to appear over the two days will include Robbie Sinclair, Lucy Anna, Samuel Howard, Joe Hurworth, Ben Thorpe, Zyan McLeod, Jay Burleigh, Billie Alderman, Andrew Bache, Mike Fox and more.
Truro is a great city to visit in Cornwall, and an enjoyable day trip for anyone staying at our hotel in Golant. As well as the Street Food Festival this weekend, there are other festivals and activities held throughout the year.
