Produce show hailed as success

Visitors staying in accommodation in Fowey, Cornwall, and locals alike flocked to nearby Lostwithiel this past weekend for the vilage's annual produce show - which was packed with pets, pumpkins and preserves.
The show, which took place for a 72nd consecutive year, left judges impressed at the quality of produce on show.
Judges were also impressed by the range of Guinea Pigs bought along to the show, who took part in a pet show.
With categories for best veg, handicrafts, cookery and photography the show, run by Lostwithiel Garden Society, Lostwithiel Women's Institute and the Lostwithiel and District Floral Art Group, was a busy one.
For the judges the highlight was judging the cookery competition, especially with plenty of locally made Cornish pasties on offer.
There were also a few tricky moments, especially when two pumpkins entered in the biggest pumpkin show both weighed in at identical weights.
