The South West looks set to enjoy temperatures in and around the 30C mark next week, according to a report by the Met Office.

Some areas are being predicted as reaching as high as 35C, putting sunspots such as Hawaii and California to shame! This is thanks to pockets of warm air moving into the UK across the Atlantic, which will see the mercury rise at the beginning of July.

This weather is only set to be with us here in Britain for a couple of days, but it will mark a fantastic start to what is being predicted as a potentially record breaking summer in terms of temperatures.

There are some predictions that Britain could see the hottest July on record since 2006, which has led to experts once again warning those out and about in the sun to take the relevant precautions.

It has been revealed today by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society that a quarter of people they questioned did not know what the rating system on their sun protection stood for. This has led to repeated encouragement that sun protection should be worn if individuals are to venture out in this potentially Caribbean weather.

This is great news about what looks to be the start of a beautiful summer! If you are looking for boutique hotels in Cornwall from which to enjoy the gorgeous weather, why not take a look and book your room with the Cormorant today?
