Lostwithiel Cider Festival coming soon
Written by The Cormorant Hotel
Saturday, September 20, is the date for the 2014 edition of the festival, which promises to be just as much of a hit as ever.
The festival will be taking place at Lostwithiel Community Centre - which is also the venue for the popular Lostwithiel antique fair and farmers market.
The festival gets under way from 12 noon and runs until late in the evening.
The festival usually proves popular, particularly with guests of luxury hotels in Fowey, and celebrates a wide range of ciders and apple juices.
Plenty of local brewers visit the festival, including main sponsors Sharp's Brewery and Cornish Orchard.
As well as the ciders on offer there's set to be live music and talks and discussions about the history of cider making in Cornwall.
Plus there's also a free to use fruit press - which means people can bring along their own fruit and make a tipple all of their own.
