Fowey Harbour Swim Open Water Swimming Sea Water | Charity Fundraising Cornwall RNLI Lifeboat Life Boat | Cormorant NewsSwimmers who took part in a charity swim in Fowey Harbour have raised more than £800 for the RNLI.

Dozens of swimmers took part in the swim, which was taking place for a sixth consecutive year.

The route for the swim saw those taking part set off from Town Quay and swim 600 metres to Readymoney and then back again, although some taking part swam a shorter route to Whitehouse and back again.

The money raised will go to Fowey Lifeboat and pay for essential life-saving equipment.

After finishing the swim the participants were able to warm up with hot soup and rolls before heading off for dinner at restaurants in Fowey.
