It is beginning to feel festive in Fowey! In early December, this beautiful seaside town will be hosting its annual Christmas market. So, if you are staying at our boutique hotel in Fowey, make sure you put the Fowey Christmas Market into your diary.

The Fowey Christmas market is being held on the 9th, 10th and 11th of December. The annual market will be a fun filled weekend full of festive food, entertainment and more. There will also be plenty of opportunities for you to pick up the perfect present. This market is going into its 12th year and continues to get better and stronger each time.

Friday the 9th of December will be the opening evening of the town quay marquees and Webb Street market. Father Christmas will arrive by tug to Berril's yard, and a lantern parade and samba band will fill the historic streets. The Christmas lights will then be switched on at the church gates, to really get the weekend started. There will also be live music, a hog roast, mulled wine and other treats to get you into the festive spirit.

Saturday the 10th of December the town quay marquees, Webb Street market and the town hall craft stalls will all be open to explore. Again, there will be a hog roast but also stilt walkers, Santa's Grotto, choirs and children's entertainment. There will also be another market at Fowey Leisure Centre to explore.

This continues on Sunday the 11th of December, where you can once again enjoy a hog roast, stilt walker entertainment and craft stalls. Additionally on the Sunday, there will be a Victorian funfair to enjoy.

If you are looking for a taste of Cornwall, take a look at some of the food and drink stalls that will be attending:

Cornish Gouda, The Brownie Maid, Bad Boy Chilli Mash, Nature Kitchen Spice Merchant, St Ives Cider, Southwestern Distillery, Cornish Tea, Haywood Farm Cider, Hedgerow Deli, Swannacott Manor Meats, Knightor Winery and many more! There are also lots of craft stalls to discover!

Keep this event in your diary, as this action-packed weekend should not be missed.
