It is almost that time of year again, and this year at The Cormorant, we are offering a festive menu running throughout December at lunchtime and dinner (excluding the 24th, 25th and 26th as the whole hotel is closed) which will be sure to tantalise the taste buds.

Roasted Breast and Confit Leg of Quail
Served with crispy quail's egg, quail and red onion pie
Plaice Paupiette filled with Salmon Mousse and Soft Herbs
Served with tomato and crab bisque and chive puree
Poach-roasted Ballotine of Turkey, Stuffed with Sage and Chestnuts
Served with sausage wrapped in bacon, fondant potato, braised red cabbage, swede puree, sprouts and winter greens
Rosemary, Thyme and Sage Gnocchi
Served with roasted celeriac, swede, carrot and winter squash, root vegetable crisps, broccoli puree, baby carrots, and sprouting broccoli
Christmas Pudding Parfait
Served with chilled brandy anglaise, clotted cream, and raisin puree
Triple Chocolate Marquise
Service with mint ice cream, winter berry compote, bitter chocolate sauce, and crystallised mint
