Seasonal Waiting Positions




 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We have seasonal vacancies available, for full or part time hours. We are looking for reliable, friendly staff preferably with experience of waiting in a quality restaurant or hotel, but training can be given to the successful candidate. Candidates must be of smart appearance and pleasant manner.

A full-time position would require you to work a split shift.

The approximate hours of work are 8am - 1pm then 6.30pm - 10.30pm. Five days over seven shifts are likely to include, weekends and bank holidays.

Part time hours could be a mix of evening or day shifts.

Rate of pay will reflect level of experience. Own transport or reliable lifts is necessary as there is no public transport to our village (nearest bus 1.5 miles away). Rates of pay will be upwards from a starting point of National Minimum Wage, depending upon experience.

 

Full time waiting positions




 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As well as our seasonal vacancies, we require full time staff preferably with experience of waiting in a quality restaurant or hotel, but training can be given to the right candidate. Candidates must be of smart appearance and pleasant manner. Service here is efficient and professional, yet maintains a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

There is a requirement for staff at breakfast and dinner services. To fulfil full time hours the role may also include some housekeeping as well as general duties as required. Rate of pay will reflect level of experience.

Own transport or reliable lifts is necessary as there is no public transport to our village (nearest bus 1.5 miles away). Rates of pay will be upwards from a starting point of National minimum wage, depending upon experience

 

Junior Sous Chef

We are looking to recruit a junior sous chef for our riverside hotel in a beautiful location near Fowey in Cornwall. The person that takes on this role will have at least 2-3 year's experience in quality kitchens and will be passionate about food and producing exceptional dishes.

The junior sous chef will receive an annual salary of between £19k - 24k. Live in accommodation may also be available if required.

You would be one of only three chefs in a kitchen that produces lovely food, in small quantities, with the opportunity of experience in all departments. Responsibilities to include, but are not limited to: stock control, ordering, menu planning, as well as the running of some shifts in the absence of the Head Chef, whilst ensuring that the highest possible levels of service are achieved at all times. This is a fabulous opportunity to join an experienced and talented brigade.
