Dawn French dubs herself "The Queen of Cornwall"

Comedian Dawn French has dubbed herself as "The Queen of Cornwall" after her image has been commemorated in chocolate by Falmouth University.
At the recent graduation ceremony, graduates were presented with a chocolate coin from the lady herself, which featured a likeness of the celebrity wearing a crown, similar to the one she was actually wearing when handing out the coins.
Dawn French was named as the first chancellor for the university earlier this year, and attended the graduation ceremony, where she addressed the graduates in her first ever ceremony.
Falmouth recently was named as the top Arts University in the country for 2015 by the Sunday Times, so installing Dawn French as their chancellor was a no-brainer for them. French is herself a Cornish resident, living just a short distance from our hotel, Fowey, which is another reason why she is so well suited to the role.
When addressing the crowd, French talked about how the journeys of the students were just beginning. She herself is just about to embark on a new adventure of her own, with her stage show "Thirty Million Minutes" touring the length and breadth of the country, with more dates being recently added. Not only is she the Queen of Cornwall, but the Queen of the Stage as well!
