The festival, organised by the Daphne du Maurier Society, has set dates for the 2015 edition of the festival - which is news we're delighted to hear.

The festival attracts thousands of visitors to stay in boutique hotels Cornwall every year and is a firm fixture on the town's calendar of events. While we always knew it would be taking place again this year the cementing of its dates are welcome news.

This year the festival will be taking place at a number of locations in and around the beautiful riverside town of Fowey, from May 9 to 16.

The exciting programme, which is in the process of being finalised, includes talks, interviews, creative and practical workshops, exhibitions, presentations, theatre, musical concerts, an Art trail, guided walks and river cruises to enjoy, inform, challenge and inspire the imagination.

Keep an eye on www.foweyfestival.com for more details, or check back here as we'll be updating our blog with news of who has confirmed their appearance at the festival - just as we did last year when Justine Picardie, Lynda La Plante, Ruth Rendell, Michael Caines, Tina May, Richard Madeley and Judy Finnegan were among the celebrities, authors, chefs and musicians appearing.
