Easter at Eden - Saturday 24th March - Sunday 15th April
The Eden Project doesn't do things by half, spreading their celebration of Easter over three weeks! A family-friendly event, there is plenty to do for all ages, such as an egg hunt, obstacle course, a specially built maze, a plant discovery trail and the Operation Earth live show, taking place daily at 11.30am, 1pm and 3.30pm. The show explores the science of Earth, presented in partnership with the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC).
St Endellion Easter Music Festival, Port Isaac - Sunday 1st April to Sunday 8th April
St Endellion Easter Festival has been going for nearly four decades, and visitors can enjoy a mix of amateur and professional classical musicians. The festival features chamber, choral and orchestral concerts, and performances are done in the 15th-century church of St Endelienta in Port Isaac. The intimate setting for the music makes the week-long festival feel very special!
Wadebridge Good Food & Craft Day - Monday 2nd April
The Wadebridge Good Food & Craft Day is back again for the third year and looks to be as popular as ever. The day-long event will take over Molesworth Street and The Platt in the town, and there will be samples of the best food from around Cornwall and lovely local crafts to buy as gifts for yourself and loved ones. Throughout the day there will be lots of music too, keeping the atmosphere cheerful.
The Man Engine: Resurrection Tour - Saturday 31st March to Monday 2nd April
The largest mechanical puppet ever built in Britain won people's hearts when it first appeared in 2016, touring the Cornwall and Devon Mining World Heritage Site. And for people who didn't get to see it then, are in with a chance to see it over the Easter weekend. On Saturday 31st March, the Man Engine will re-appear at Geevor Tin Mine, then head east, making appearances at the Heartlands on 1st April, and Lostwithiel on 2nd April. He then crosses over to Devon via Tamar and Tavistock before going further north through Somerset, South Wales and further afield to the North of England. Cornwall Spring Flower Show, Lostwithiel - Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th April
The weekend following Easter sees the return of the annual Cornwall Spring Flower Show. It has been named one of the best flower shows in the UK, and it is a great celebration of Cornwall's gardens. The displays of flowers and plants are a true riot of colour, and there are also specialist nurseries, trade stands, show gardens and art crafts to try out. The show also offers lectures and Gardeners' Questions for any burgeoning gardeners visiting the show. Cornish food and drink will also be available.
