Cormorant chef cooking at Fowey mussel Fest

Just a short distance from our beautiful location in Golant is Fowey, home to a spectacular annual mussel festival.
Each year guests at the Hotel visit the festival and come back with tales of the shellfish they've tried and cooking demonstrations they've seen.
This year will be no different and we're going to be involved as usual, as our Head Chef Dane Watkins is set to perform a cooking demonstration as part of the festival.
Classically trained Dane, who was taught to cook by a Michelin starred chef, will be showing off his skills in the festival tent on Fowey harbour over the weekend of June 21 and 22.
Dane, 28, is set to cook his mussels with a variety of different sauces and tells us that he is looking forward to the festival.
"The town's always very busy during the festival and it'll be nice to rub shoulders with some of the other great chefs who are taking part," he said.
"It's nice to see other people who are passionate about food and get to talk about what I do to an interested audience."
