Bonfire Night is just over one week away and Cornwall will be lit up with the various firework displays taking place across the country. If you are staying at our boutique hotel in Golant or dining at one of the top restaurants in Fowey at our hotel over the November 5th weekend, then why not go and see any of the firework displays taking place in the area?

On Friday the 4 November, Liskeard and Looe's Round Table Firework display takes place at the rugby club at Trevecca. The display begins at 7.30pm and adult entrance is £4. Hot and cold drinks will be available inside, the perfect accompaniment to an evening under the colourful explosions.

At Polperro Harbour, watch the fireworks light up the sky over Peak Rock. One of the top ten firework displays in Cornwall, the seafront display is always fantastic. The event starts around 6.30pm the display begins at 7.30pm.

Also on November 5th Bodmin's Bonfire and Grand Firework Display will be taking place, promising to be a stunning spectacle, and the display will be accompanied by music with the year the theme being film scores of John Williams, including Jaws, Jurassic Park, Harry Potter and Star Wars. The lighting of the bonfire begins at 7pm, with the display starting at 7.30pm. There will also be fairground rides and sweet stalls to enjoy too. Tickets in advance are £3.50 or on the gate, £5.

If you are not looking to travel far for a fantastic firework display, the Lankelly Fowey Rugby Club will be putting on their annual firework display. And remember, if you are planning on attending any of the Bonfire Night firework displays remember to wrap up warm!
