Deputy General Manager. 

We are looking for a very special person,  who has good experience in all areas of Hotel Management,  but who also has that indefinable quality that makes you want to be hands-on,  at the forefront,  interacting with and wowing our guests, on a personal level,  on a daily basis. 
Our operation is small,  and the post will involve hands-on Reception; meeting, greeting, caring for our guests,  serving their pre-dinner drinks,  taking their dinner orders,  taking care of their dietary requirements,  serving their wine,  chatting with them about their day,  telling them all about their other possibilities for the next day.   In short,  encouraging guest satisfaction way beyond expectation,  encouraging repeat business and recommendations.  We expect every guest to depart with the longing to return.
But it also involves the actual serious management roles:   monitoring and training of Restaurant & Housekeeping staff,  fixing staff levels and rotas,  responsibility for profitability,  rate adjustments  & spending controls in order to acheive that,  & quality control in every department.

 Waiting Staff

We have vacancies for Waiting Staff, perferably with some experince of waiting in a quality Restaurant or Hotel, although training can be given.   Candidates must be of smart appearance and pleasant manner,  and be able to serve our customers efficiently whilst maintaining a relaxed atmosphere.  There is a requirement for staff at both morning and evening shifts,  and posts offered can be either full-time,  doing both shifts,  of part-time,  doing either morning or evening shifts.  Rate of pay will reflect level of experince.

Housekeeper.  We need a Housekeeper, to work mornings, variable hours but approximately 20 hours per week,  to include some weekends.   Our standards are high,  and we are seeking someone with experience of Hotel Housekeeping who can uphold our tradition of attention to detail and to be responsible for the linen & guestroom supplies  You will need to be friendly and to have  a nice manner,  as you will come into contact with our guests on a daily basis.  This is a permanent position, not just seasonal.  The hourly rate will depend upon level of experience.
